How to measure your pool for a pool blanket.
To find out the cost for a pool cover for your pool, the first thing to do is measure the length and width of your pool.
These two numbers multiplied will provide a square metre figure from which to calculate the cost of your choice of pool cover.
1. Measuring your pool is simply a matter of measuring the maximum water level width and length of the main body of water.
See illustration below.
This will give you Width: A and Length: B for the main body of your pool.
2. If you have any steps, then measure the step area separately as set out below.
3 If you have an irregular-shaped pool, treat as a rectangular as per the examples below.
Remember to make the rectangle large enough to cover the entire pool.
Area is calculated by multiplying the length by the width.
